Specification Sheet
In aircraft development, the specification sheet plays a central role by defining all boundary conditions and requirements the system must fulfill. For projects like SkyCab, the specification sheet includes several hundred individual requirements. Many of these are derived from aviation regulations such as CS-23 for small aircraft or the newer SC-VTOL standard for electric vertical take-off and landing systems. Additionally, mission-specific and customer-defined requirements are also documented in the specification sheet.
During the development of SCII, the design was continuously reviewed against the specification sheet to ensure compliance with all requirements. This process guarantees that the final aircraft configuration meets not only regulatory standards but also operational and user-specific expectations.
